	Pyrometers: MCPS supports pyrometers for contactless temperature measurements. Rotating or moving objects can also be analyzed as gases (waste furnaces). Infrared cameras for 2-D thermography: In addition to classic datalogger MCPS supports infrared cameras, which deliver 2D images. These can be displayed and saved. Supplementary you can define zones or regions of interest (ROI) to compute minimum, maximum or average values. These statistic values are provided as regular channels and can be used in text and trend windows. With output drivers (OPC) or output hardware (analog outputs) these results can be transmitted to PLCs or management systems. Infrared data and regular values can be combined in one measurement to see dependencies. For example motor test stand with ir camera, powermeter and datalogger to see temperature distribution, power consumption and speed.
